About This Tool
Convert PDF text and scanned pages into an Excel workbook or CSV file. Files are processed in your browser; they are not uploaded to a conversion server.
How to convert
- Select or drop one PDF up to 25 MB.
- Leave the page range empty for all pages, or enter a range such as 1-3, 5.
- Click Convert to Excel and review the extracted data.
- Choose Download Excel or Download CSV. Excel creates a separate worksheet for each selected page.
Scanned PDFs
Pages without selectable text are read using Tesseract OCR. Choose the language of your document. Enable Use OCR on every page to recognize image content on mixed text and scanned pages. OCR can take longer, especially on large documents.
Accuracy and privacy
Column detection uses text positions. Complex layouts, merged cells, handwriting and unclear scans may require corrections after export. The preview shows up to 100 rows; downloads include all extracted rows. Review important values against the original PDF.
Your browser downloads the conversion libraries and OCR language data. Your PDF and extracted data stay in the current browser session. Refreshing the page clears them. Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first.
